Abstract

Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes a person feel frustrated, angry, or nervous. Stress is the body's reaction to a challenge or demand. In short spurts, stress can be positive, such as when it helps you avoid danger or meet a deadline. Between the upcoming holiday season and the end-of year push at work, your organization may see rising stress levels among employees. This stress can have major impacts on individual, team and business performance. With learners and students also writing their exams, they may also experience some of the stress symptoms. Stress can affect anybody and as such the advice can be given to patients, staff or used by the clinicians themselves
