South African Computer Journal
The South African Computer Journal (SACJ) is a DHET (South Africa) accredited specialist open access academic journal, publishing research articles and communications in English in the Computer Science, Computer Systems and Information Systems domains. The journal is published by the South African Institute of Computer Scientists and Information Technologists (SAICSIT) and hosted on the Khulisa Journals platform (Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf)).
The journal - being included on Scopus since 2016 - appears on the DHET sub-list of Scopus-indexed journals that qualify for subsidy for articles published by South African academics at public South African universities.

South African Crime Quarterly
The South African Crime Quarterly (SACQ) is a journal co-published by the Justice and Violence Prevention Programme at the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) and the Centre of Law and Society (CLS) at the University of Cape Town. SACQ presents recent research results on crime, criminal justice, policing, prisons and incarceration, crime prevention, and criminal justice policy and legislation. SACQ aims to add balance and objectivity to the discourse on human security in Africa by providing timely empirical research and analysis to policy makers, area specialists, academics and students.

South African Journal of Agricultural Extension (SAJAE)
The South African Journal of Agricultural Extension (SAJAE) is a publication of the South African Society for Agricultural Extension (SASAE), and was published for the first time in 1966. The journal publishes scientific articles on extension and the extension profession, as well as rural development. Before articles are published, they are peer reviewed by a panel of Editorial Advisors. The journal transitioned to the Khulisa Journals platform during March 2021. It is available as open access.

South African Journal of Sports Medicine
The South African Journal of Sports Medicine (SA J Sports Med) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles, reviews, commentaries, letters and case studies on topics related to the disciplines represented by the South African Sports Medicine Association. One volume is published a year with articles added as they are ready for publication. These disciplines include sports medicine, biokinetics, physiotherapy, exercise and sports science, dietetics and psychology. Material that is particularly unique and relevant to South Africa and its inhabitants are given preference; however, any other material of general interest and relevance will also be considered.

Water SA
Water SA is a multidisciplinary international journal publishing original research and review articles on all aspects of water science, technology, engineering and policy. The primary focus of the journal is on content that is relevant to the needs of Southern Africa, which includes research that is of broad international interest or of particular relevance to the African continent.
Water SA is funded and published by the South African Water Research Commission and is issued quarterly (January, April, July, October).
